Get To Know Me!

Currently I am a Traffic Coordinator for Kansas City PBS where I schedule media for program breaks and ensure that all media is ready for air. In my position, I work collaboratively with different areas of the TV station to provide a great television experience for consumers by making sure that the right media plays at the right time. It is an honor and a privilege knowing that I am a part of a team that makes a difference in the Kansas City community.

I got my start at KMOS-TV, the PBS member station in Central Missouri owned and operated by the University of Central Missouri. My duties included working as the Assistant Traffic Coordinator on the production team as a Production Assistant. KMOS will forever have a golden place in my heart because of the top notch experiences the station provided me during my college career.

During the summer of 2023, I worked as the On Air and Digital Fundraising Intern at PBS in Washington DC! My internship position was a part of the fundraising team specifically focused on aspects of pledge campaign materials and online fundraising strategies. During my time at PBS, I managed program media assets for distribution to PBS member stations, quality checked upcoming programs for standards and break placement, and participated in an innovative audit of 10 stations focusing on the digital donor.

At the University of Central Missouri, I am working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Social Influence and Media. I expect to graduate this coming May. While at UCM I am working on diversifying my skills to become your next media professional.

Everyday, I come home to my handsome fiancé Sam, our beagle dog Belle, and the cutest bunny rabbit that has ever hopped named Bunny. In my free time I enjoy weekend road trips, Geocaching, and hiking with Sam.    I would consider myself to be an adventurous person because I am not afraid to try new things and go on spontaneous excursions.
